Rebrand
To help launch NFL’s new streaming platform, Shapes & Forms developed a bold creative direction using the “plus” symbol as the driving force. I was part of the design and motion team, bringing static assets to life with dynamic animation, slick transitions, and a whole lot of attitude. Check it out below!
Concept & Approach
With the NFL+ rebrand, our goal was to take the “+” beyond just a logo element and make it the heartbeat of the visual identity. The "+" became a recurring graphic device—appearing in transitions, compositions, and layouts—as a way to emphasize the platform’s role in offering more to NFL fans.
We aimed to strike a balance between simplicity and visual impact. Clean, modular compositions gave the brand a digital-first look, while bold use of space ensured the "+" always stood out. To stay rooted in the NFL’s heritage, we integrated football-specific graphics like playbook arrows, Xs and Os, and diagram-style overlays. These elements brought energy and familiarity, while also positioning the brand as innovative and future-facing.
