Collaborating with Shapes & Forms and the NFL team was a standout moment in my 2020. From NFL Now to NFL+, Total Access, Sleep, and IQ, we worked across multiple internal brands — but our work for NFL NOW was a true highlight. This project involved a deep dive into branding for digital and broadcast, with a strong focus on turning motion and design into something both functional and expressive.

NFL NOW Rebrand

Concept & Approach

Our vision for NFL NOW was grounded in the idea of real-time energy reflecting the speed, urgency, and excitement of the game as it happens. We turned the word “NOW” into a dynamic visual device, using its shapes — especially the ‘O’ — as a portal for transitions and footage reveals.

Futuristic typography, split layouts, and graphic elements borrowed from the football field gave the identity a modern, authentic edge. We wanted something bold, responsive, and scalable not just a static brand, but a system that could flex across any platform.

We also performed a strategic brand study to ensure consistency across all digital platforms: app, website, social, and streaming content. This thinking shaped everything from UI choices to how motion was handled across different formats.

Execution

As part of the Shapes & Forms team, I contributed to both design and animation. I helped develop headline treatments, podcast artwork, web pages for highlights, social assets, and the overall motion language of the brand. Alongside Darren Dai and Felipe Ramirez, we extended the identity into a full motion toolkit you can find at the top.
