TikTok Symphony Launch

For the launch of TikTok Symphony, Eastward was tasked with creating a teaser video to introduce the new suite of AI capabilities and solutions. The goal was to build excitement at key industry events and on TikTok’s Creative Centre by showcasing how these AI tools will revolutionise creative content.

Concept & Approach

For this project, the client gave us a Figma storyboard and assets, and we brought it to life through animation. They wanted a playful, dynamic video with quick transitions, type animation, UGC videos, stickers, colorful backgrounds, and clean layouts. We followed their vision closely, making the animation vibrant and engaging, all set to the perfect music choice.

Execution

Jake Williams and I teamed up to bring all the animation to life in After Effects. One of the biggest challenges was transforming a huge batch of Figma 9x16 files into a cohesive 16x9 format, all while juggling tight deadlines and different time zones. We split scenes, communicated constantly and kept everyone on the team up to date with updates. It took careful planning, but the end result was a series of clean, snappy animations that hit the mark. A fast-paced, fun one to be part of!
