TikTok Beauty Sizzle
TikTok is where beauty trends take off, and Beauty Month is the brand’s chance to shine. This sizzle reel hypes up the massive opportunity for advertisers to engage beauty lovers, drive conversations, and make an impact. From viral trends to powerful ad solutions, we’ll show how brands can tap into Beauty Month and win big on TikTok.
Concept & Approach
We set out to push beyond standard layouts from the TikTok’s brand guidelines, exploring unconventional solutions, like 3D UGC rotations and compositions, to make this sizzle stand out from what we did in the past. I developed two distinct concepts: The Archive, inspired by vintage aesthetics, and Minimal Elegance (more details bellow), reflecting TikTok’s brand personality through refined design and dynamic beauty content. I led art direction, style frames, and animation.
Concept 1: The Archive
This concept is a heartfelt nod to the past, blending vintage charm with a modern twist. It is all about celebrating the journey of the brands experience on Tiktok while embracing what's to come with cool vintage-inspired visuals. To achieve this look we used paper cut graphics, collage effects, and trendy
stickers creating a dynamic and tactile experience that's both timeless and forward-thinking. It's almost like you are bringing your dream looks and aspirations to life on paper in a way that feels really personal. ❤ Check my moodboard & experiments below.






Concept 2: The Minimal Elegance
This direction is all about bringing a touch of refined sophistication and minimalistic charm to TikTok's brand. This concept utilizes plenty of white space to create a modern and sophisticated look, allowing each element to stand out. With strategic use of color and thoughtful composition, this concept stays
true to TikTok's identity while adding a subtle touch of elegance. This direction emphasizes the use of carefully selected UGC and typography composition over elements like stickers and textures seen in option A.










Unfiltered Truths 🤫
This is one of my Eastward favourites. It’s rare to have the time and space to truly design, to explore, refine, and build a brand world with intention. This project gave me that, and the difference shows. Unlike the fast-paced sizzles, this one falls into the same category as Now/With Launch, Healthline Rebrand, and Arcadis Launch — the kind of work where you get to craft every frame with care. And that’s when the magic really happens for me. ❤
